Day 10

We Did It!

We did it! We made our first flight back.

Most of our group were seated together so, let me tell you, those tray tables were used as snooze trays! Fold arms: check. Rest head: check. Close eyes: out like a light. When we arrived in Minneapolis, we had lunch at Stone Arch. We had a relaxed lunch as our flight wasn’t right away. (If you’re ever there, I recommend the roasted Brussel sprouts! Delish!) Our Mission Family boarded our last flight. It was pretty uneventful. More sleep. More quiet activity. Touching down at Bradley, I sighed. Our mission had come to an end. We worked hard and accomplished so much for Tiny Pine. I gazed at my Tiny Pine keychain that Alyssa had given all members. It’s a keepsake to remind us of the time we spent serving God together. Thank you. We are all grateful to have been part of this mission and for meeting all the people impacted by the wildfires. Thank YOU, dear reader, for following our trip! God Bless Everyone.
